SPECIAL EDITION: LALONGET VI

Lalonget VI, the 2025 special issue themed “Future Projections in Education: Futurology in Language, Literature, & Culture,” presents a comprehensive and forward-looking scholarly landscape by compiling a total of 94 academic articles from a wide range of international affiliations, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Tunisia, the Philippines, and Austria. The increase in the number of articles in this issue not only reflects strong academic enthusiasm but also signifies the expansion of cross-national scholarly networks in responding to the dynamics and challenges of future education. All published articles consistently explore projective educational issues by positioning language, literature, and culture as the central axes of analysis, encompassing pedagogical innovation, curriculum transformation, and paradigm shifts in learning driven by technological advances and global socio-cultural change. The Lalonget VI special issue serves a strategic role as a forum for scholarly dialogue that both reflects upon and maps the future directions of education in the humanities within an ever-evolving global context.
