Conflict of Interest

PANYONARA: Journal of English Education is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the publication process.

Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could improperly influence the research, peer review, editorial decision-making, or publication of a manuscript.

Authors must disclose relevant financial and non-financial interests, professional relationships, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, or other circumstances that may affect the objectivity or interpretation of their work. Any relevant funding sources and the role of funders should also be reported.

Editors must declare conflicts of interest and must not participate in editorial decisions when a personal, professional, institutional, or financial relationship could compromise their impartiality. In such cases, the manuscript should be handled by an independent editor.

Reviewers must inform the editorial team of any conflict of interest before accepting or continuing a review assignment. Reviewers must decline the assignment when a conflict could compromise their objectivity or confidentiality.

The journal will assess disclosed conflicts and take appropriate measures to protect the integrity of the editorial process. Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest may result in editorial action, including rejection, publication of a correction, or other measures consistent with the journal’s publication ethics policies.

When no relevant conflict of interest exists, authors should include an explicit declaration stating: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
