JOURNAL HISTORY
Since its establishment in 2023, El Nubuwwah Jurnal Studi Hadis has continuously improved its editorial policies and journal management practices to promote transparency and align with international standards in scholarly publishing within the field of Hadith Studies. These policy revisions reflect the journal’s ongoing commitment to enhancing editorial quality, international accessibility, and sustainable scholarly publishing practices.
1. Article Template Revision
Beginning with Volume 4, Issue 1 (June 2026), El Nubuwwah Jurnal Studi Hadis requires authors submitting manuscripts in Indonesian to provide the article title in both English and Indonesian. The English title must be presented first, followed by the Indonesian title. This policy is intended to improve the international visibility and accessibility of published articles.
2. Author Fees Policy
From Volume 1, Issue 1 (June 2023) until Volume 2, El Nubuwwah Jurnal Studi Hadis did not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, review, or publication.
Starting from Volume 3, Issue 1 (2025), the journal implemented the following fee structure:
- Submission Charge: IDR 0.00. Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript.
- Article Review Fee: IDR 350,000. Manuscripts that proceed to the peer-review stage are subject to this fee. Prior to Volume 4, Issue 2 (December 2026), this fee also covered publication costs.
- Article Processing Charge (APC): Effective from Volume 4, Issue 2 (December 2026), accepted manuscripts are subject to a separate APC to cover publication expenses. The APC is set at IDR 400,000 for authors affiliated with Universitas Islam Negeri Madura, international authors, or manuscripts co-authored with international collaborators, and IDR 650,000 for authors affiliated with other institutions.
These adjustments were introduced to support the sustainability of the journal's editorial and publication processes while maintaining transparency in its fee policies.
