Article Withdrawal Policy

  1. Authors must ensure that all co-authors have approved the submission of a manuscript before it is submitted to PERDIKAN: Journal of Community Engagement.
  2. Manuscript withdrawal requests are permitted only before the manuscript enters the peer-review process. Once the peer-review process has begun, authors are expected to fully cooperate with the editorial and review process.
  3. Withdrawal requests made after peer review has begun, reviewer comments have been received, or the manuscript has been accepted will be considered only under exceptional circumstances and must include a clear and reasonable justification.
  4. Because the review process requires substantial editorial effort, administrative resources, and the voluntary time and contributions of reviewers, authors requesting withdrawal after the peer-review process has begun may be subject to an administrative withdrawal fee of IDR 750,000, as determined by the journal. The withdrawal will not be completed until all applicable obligations have been fulfilled.
  5. Authors who withdraw manuscripts without valid reasons after significant editorial and peer-review work has been undertaken may be restricted from submitting manuscripts to the journal for a period determined by the Editorial Board.
  6. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject future submissions from authors who repeatedly engage in unethical withdrawal practices or fail to fulfill their obligations to the journal.
