Social and emotional development in early childhood is an important foundation in forming character and children's readiness to interact in social life in the future. In this regard, appropriately designed learning strategies by teachers can contribute significantly to children's social and emotional development. This study aims to analyze the social-emotional development of early childhood and teacher strategies in fostering it at RA Nurul Mubarok, Jember. The research approach used qualitative methods with a case study design, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The research results show that children have demonstrated basic social-emotional competencies, such as the ability to cooperate, express empathy, follow rules, and manage emotions in a simple manner. However, there is variation in the level of emotional regulation maturity among children, influenced by individual readiness and previous social experiences. Teacher strategies for supporting social-emotional development include play-based learning, circle time, positive reinforcement, and emotional and dialogical support when conflicts arise between children. Teacher sensitivity to children's diverse character and emotional readiness, combined with institutional support and the integration of Islamic values, has been shown to strengthen children's holistic development of social-emotional competencies. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of responsive, flexible pedagogical practices based on moral and religious values in forming the social-emotional foundations of early childhood.
