About the Journal

Mubtadi: Journal of Ibtidaiyah Education is an academic journal managed by the Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) at UIN Madura, located at Jalan Raya Panglegur Km 4, Pamekasan 69371, Indonesia. The journal is published biannually, in February and August. The establishment of Mubtadi was initiated in response to recommendations and insights from educational practitioners who emphasized the importance of exchanging knowledge, sharing experiences, and disseminating scholarly information, particularly in the field of Islamic elementary and primary education (MI/SD), as a means of improving educational quality. In response to these constructive recommendations, the PGMI Study Program at UIN Madura undertook a series of intensive coordination efforts, including academic meetings and workshops dedicated to establishing the journal. These collaborative initiatives ultimately led to the founding and publication of Mubtadi, providing a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, educators, and educational practitioners to exchange ideas, disseminate research findings, and contribute to the advancement of elementary education.
