Focus and Scope
Focus
Al-Huquq : Journal of Indonesian Islamic Economic Law is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the legal dimension of Islamic economics in Indonesia. It examines how Islamic commercial jurisprudence (fiqh muamalah), fatwas, national legislation, regulatory frameworks, and judicial practice interact to shape Islamic economic activity in a plural legal system. The journal prioritizes law-centered, evidence-based scholarship, rather than financial performance studies, and positions Indonesia as a distinctive case for global debates on the positivization of Sharia in economic law.
