<p align="justify"><strong>re-JIEM</strong> <strong>(Research Journal of Islamic Education Management)</strong> is a peer-reviewed journal on Islamic education field and intended to communicate original research and current issues on the subject. This journal is published twice a year <strong>(June and December)</strong>. The editors welcome scholars, researchers, and practitioners of Islamic education around the world to submit scholarly articles to be published in this journal. <p><em>This study aims to analyze the educational budget efficiency policy at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta from the perspective of educational financial management, especially its empat on accountability and educational services. The research method used a qualitative approach with data collection through semi-structured in-depth interviews with relevant parties at the institution, non-participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of budget efficiency encourages more careful and transparent financial planning, thus improving institutional accountability. However, this policy also poses challenges in the form of a mismatch between budget allocations and the real needs of work units, which has an impact on the effectiveness of program implementation and human resource development. On the other hand, budget constraints trigger innovation in the utilization of digital learning technology, which supports more cost-effective and flexible education services. The benefits of this research are to provide conceptual contributions and evaluative material for higher education administrators in formulating budget efficiency policies that continue to ensure accountability and quality of education.</em></p>Eka Maftuhatil RiskiyahAch. <p><em>The role of leaders is crucial in the workplace, particularly in creating a safe, comfortable, and prosperous atmosphere for employees. Leaders are required to manage employees inclusively to create positive and productive working relationships. Current research indicates that some leaders still lack a grasp of the inclusive approach, resulting in less harmonious working relationships and a decline in employee motivation and productivity. This study aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in building an inclusive work environment. The research approach uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that inclusive leadership plays a significant role in creating a comfortable work environment through open communication, emotional support, fair role allocation, and employee involvement in decision-making. This condition has been shown to increase employee safety, comfort, motivation, and work productivity. <p><em>The era of Society 5.0 requires educational institutions to integrate intelligent technology with human-centered values. This study analyzes the Public Relations strategy of SMP PGRI 2 Bandar Lampung in building the school’s reputation amid rapid digital change. A qualitative case study approach was used through in-depth interviews and observations of online and offline communication activities. Data were analyzed inductively and validated through source and method triangulation. The findings show that the school implements a Symmetrical Digital Transformation Strategy consisting of Reputation Building, which strengthens digital narratives and internal relations, and Issue Management, which emphasizes two-way communication and accurate handling of misinformation. This strategy enhances public trust and community participation, although challenges remain regarding digital literacy gaps. <p><em>The role of management in Guidance and Counseling institutions is absolutely necessary. In various Islamic educational institutions, it seems that not all of them have paid attention to the management of Guidance and Counseling, this is as seen from the results of researchers' observations at the MAN 4 Aceh Besar Educational institution, where it appears that although it has had a Guidance and Counseling institution and organization, it has not fully implemented and carried out the management function correctly. Based on these problems, the researcher is interested in exploring more deeply about how the pattern of implementation of Guidance and Counseling management in the institution. The research method used is descriptive analysis research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. the study it was found that MAN 4 Aceh Besar has implemented management functions in the form of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling, but it appears that the implementation of these functions has not been optimal. However, there are some peculiarities in practice, such as appreciation, deliberation, mutual help, silaturrahmi, and so on. <p><em>Pengelolaan pondok pesantren memerlukan model kepemimpinan yang efektif dan kolaboratif guna memastikan keberhasilan proses pembinaan dan pengawasan. Di Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah sistem Qismu Riayah menerapkan pendekatan kolegial yang melibatkan wali kamar, musyrif, dan mu’in secara aktif dalam tata kelola santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mendiskusikan penerapan kepemimpinan kolaboratif dalam sistem pengelolaan tersebut serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas pembinaan santri. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kolaboratif ini membangun budaya kerja sama yang berdasarkan komunikasi terbuka, kepercayaan, dan ikhlas, yang mendukung keberhasilan pengawasan dan pembinaan santri secara berkelanjutan. Kendala utama terjadi pada mekanisme komunikasi dan manajemen konflik internal, yang membutuhkan perhatian lebih dalam pengembangan kompetensi petugas. Penelitian ini memperkuat teori kepemimpinan kolaboratif dalam konteks pesantren dan menyarankan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang pengelolaan konflik dan budaya organisasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas tata kelola pesantren berbasis kolaborasi.</em></p>Zainal AbidinAhmad Qusairi

<p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di MAS Al-Muslimun Lhoksukon melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Supervisi klinis dipahami sebagai proses pembinaan profesional yang kolaboratif dan reflektif, meliputi lima tahap utama, yaitu pertemuan awal, observasi kelas, analisis dan interpretasi data, pertemuan balikan, serta tindak lanjut. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh tahapan supervisi klinis dilaksanakan secara sistematis dan partisipatif. Pertemuan awal berfungsi menyepakati tujuan pembelajaran, observasi kelas dilakukan secara objektif, analisis data dilakukan melalui diskusi reflektif berbasis bukti, pertemuan balikan memperkuat motivasi guru, dan tindak lanjut diwujudkan melalui pelatihan serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi klinis berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru sekaligus membangun budaya profesional yang mendukung peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di madrasah.</em></p>Sahdan

<p><em>Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan inovasi kebijakan pendidikan yang menuntut fleksibilitas dan kemandirian guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di MIN 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, menggunakan transkrip hasil wawancara sebagai sumber data utama. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kurikulum ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan pelatihan, beban jumlah mata pelajaran yang tinggi, serta keterlibatan orang tua yang belum merata dalam mendukung proyek pembelajaran. Meskipun demikian, guru berusaha mengadaptasi pembelajaran melalui penyusunan modul ajar mandiri, pemanfaatan media digital, serta penerapan asesmen formatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar. Program P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) yang menjadi ciri khas Kurikulum Merdeka juga diupayakan agar tetap berjalan melalui blok waktu khusus dan kolaborasi dengan guru lain. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sangat bergantung pada kesiapan tenaga pendidik, sarana pendukung, serta keterlibatan orang tua. <p><em>Muhammadiyah education management integrates progressive Islamic values and modern management principles in managing educational institutions from elementary to tertiary level. Muhammadiyah is oriented not only toward academic achievement, but also toward the development of student’s character and faith. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing books, official documents, and journal articles relevant to Muhammadiyah education management. The review discusses philosophical foundations, organizational structure, management implementation, as well as challenges and innovations, including adaptation to technological developments and global dynamics. The findings indicate that Muhammadiyah education management is able to integrate Islamic values with professionalism, however, it still faces challenges related to the quality of human resources, quality standards, and the utilization of information technology. <p><em>Character development through project-based activities is a central focus in the implementation of value-based education. The Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students and the Profile of Students with Compassion for the Universe is applied in Islamic schools as a contextual learning model that internalizes national and religious values. This study aims to examine the management of project development in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Pamekasan, focusing on the planning, implementation, evaluation, achievements, challenges, and optimization strategies. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Informants included the head of the madrasah, project coordinators, project teachers, students, and education staff. The findings show that the management of project development was carried out collaboratively, flexibly, and value-based, involving active participation of all school components. The implementation phase encouraged experiential learning that effectively fostered students' character, social responsibility, and critical thinking skills. Evaluation was conducted reflectively and authentically, emphasizing process and student engagement rather than mere outcomes. The main challenges identified were limited time, logistical constraints, and varying capacities among facilitators. Optimization strategies included teacher training, schedule integration, improved evaluation tools, external collaboration, and thorough documentation. This study provides practical insights for other Islamic educational institutions in designing and managing value-based projects in a structured and sustainable manner.</em></p>Haries YuliantoMohammad Thoha

<p><em>The rapid advancement of technology should be balanced with a strong moral education. Nowadays, many children lack proper religious education within their families. Moreover, the progress of science and technology has negatively impacted the development of children and adolescents. Sufistic prophetic education serves as an alternative model for education practitioners to rebuild students' character in educational institutions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The results show that the developed Sufistic prophetic model is characterized by an ethical Sufistic approach through the Naqshabandiyah Mudhariyah tariqa program, which has traditionally evolved since the time of Mursyid Kyai Wahid Khudaifah, the founder of the Darul Ulum Islamic boarding school. The activities and stages in the practice of the Naqshabandiyah Mudhariyah tariqa include tazkiyat al-nafs (self-purification), mujahadah (spiritual striving), riyadhah (spiritual discipline), dhikrullah (remembrance of God), maqamat (spiritual stations), and ahwal (spiritual states). The implementation involves recitations of asmaul husna (names of God), prayers, and istighosah (supplications), separation of classes, allegiance to the tariqa, and tawajjuh (focus). <p><em>Strategic financial management in Islamic educational institutions is grounded in the principles of participatory governance, where transparency, accountability, and stakeholder collaboration ensure the sustainable allocation and utilization of resources for holistic student development. This study aims to analyze the financial management of extracurricular activities at MTs Miftahul Ulum Pagendingan, using the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) framework and stakeholder participation theory. The research employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Findings indicate that budget planning is conducted collaboratively among the principal, student affairs vice principal, treasurer, and extracurricular advisors based on activity needs. Organizing involves clear role distribution among relevant units, while funding sources include School Operational Assistance (Bantuan Operasional Sekolah/BOS), parental contributions, and voluntary donations. Financial control is maintained through periodic evaluations and transparent financial reporting. Key enablers include active involvement of all stakeholders, whereas major constraints consist of limited funding and low parental awareness. Strengthening strategies involve optimizing funding sources, enhancing budget transparency, and improving communication and collaboration with stakeholders. The study concludes that accountable and participatory financial management is essential to ensuring the long-term sustainability of extracurricular programs in Islamic junior high schools.</em></p>Abdul AzizWaqiatul Masrurah
