This significant amount of by-side product coexists with a persistent regional poverty rate (10.23%), creating a critical challenge but also a unique opportunity. This article addresses the issue of unexploited economic potential and unemployment by examining the potential of EFB waste as a valuable resource for community empowerment. The initiative applied the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) model through a community service program titled “The Langsa Local Community Mushroom Project.” The method involved three key stages: 1) an initial survey to assess community needs, 2) stakeholder socialization to build commitment, and 3) a comprehensive workshop for 40 participants. The workshop provided theoretical and practical training in cultivating mushrooms using EFB as the primary growth medium, utilizing a local waste asset directly. The program yielded significant outcomes. Pre- and post-test assessments revealed a dramatic 37-point increase in participant knowledge, with average scores rising from 45% to 82%. This research demonstrated a successful transfer of skills. Furthermore, the project yielded tangible results, including a functioning community mushroom cultivation site, and fostered a clear behavioral change. It explores the socio-economic effects of prolonged instability, social dislocation, and impoverishment, as well as the psychosocial trauma inflicted on communities. Additionally, it examines the strategies employed by socio-economically traumatized persons and communities to recover, rebuild, and transform their conflicts, thereby reclaiming their agency. The study aimed to investigate the socio-economic effects of crises, the media's influence on the recuperation phenomenon, remedial community engagement, and the contribution of community empowerment approaches to poverty alleviation and the intertwined processes of sustainable peace and social development. The researcher employed a qualitative method, utilizing in-depth interviews with forty respondents, comprising teachers, farmers, displaced persons, women, and youth who have all survived socio-occupational crises. The poverty, devastation of agricultural land, and destruction of social capital that resulted from the crises fostered social disintegration, mistrust, and resource-embedded displacement. While the national media provided only occasional coverage, local digital media played a crucial role in advancing self-help initiatives during the socio-occupational crises, as well as facilitating local social cooperation. Community resilience was demonstrated through grassroots women's cooperatives, faith-based relief efforts, and small-scale empowerment initiatives; however, the lack of state support remained a significant obstacle. This study, informed by the Social Capital Theory, posits that the restoration of the trust, networks, and cooperation dimensions of social capital is essential for sustainable recovery and must accompany the restoration of livelihoods in the Wukari Local Government Area (LGA), Taraba State. Wukari recovery, as a key conclusion of this study, should be less focused on physical reconstruction and more on bridging the recovery of empowerment and social cohesion. Therefore, this study argues that Wukari (LGA) post-conflict, the strategic recovery empowerment and resilience mechanisms, should be centered on the recovery consolidation of trust-building, empowerment, active media and social media advocacy, the implementation of the peace committee reports, operationalised with strategic public-private partnerships for the reconstruction of sustainable infrastructure, and inform the post-conflict reconstruction.<br><br></em>[Studi ini meneliti dampak historis, sosial ekonomi, dan psikologis dari konflik kekerasan yang melanda komunitas Wukari di Negara Bagian Taraba. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak sosial ekonomi dari ketidakstabilan yang berkepanjangan, ketercerabutan sosial, dan kemiskinan; trauma psikososial yang diderita masyarakat; serta strategi yang digunakan individu dan komunitas yang mengalami trauma sosial ekonomi untuk pulih, membangun kembali, dan mentransformasikan konflik mereka guna merebut kembali kendali atas kehidupan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki dampak sosial ekonomi dari krisis, pengaruh media terhadap proses pemulihan, bentuk keterlibatan komunitas yang bersifat pemulihan, serta kontribusi pendekatan pemberdayaan masyarakat terhadap pengentasan kemiskinan dan keterkaitan antara perdamaian berkelanjutan serta pembangunan sosial. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap empat puluh responden, yang terdiri atas guru, petani, pengungsi, perempuan, dan pemuda yang semuanya merupakan penyintas krisis sosial-occupational. Kemiskinan, kerusakan lahan pertanian, dan hancurnya modal sosial akibat krisis tersebut menimbulkan disintegrasi sosial, ketidakpercayaan, dan perpindahan penduduk yang berakar pada sumber daya. Sementara media nasional hanya memberikan liputan sesekali, media digital lokal memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong inisiatif swadaya selama krisis sosial-ekonomi serta memfasilitasi kerja sama sosial di tingkat lokal. Ketahanan masyarakat ditunjukkan melalui koperasi perempuan akar rumput, upaya bantuan berbasis keagamaan, dan inisiatif pemberdayaan berskala kecil; namun, kurangnya dukungan pemerintah tetap menjadi hambatan besar. Studi ini, yang berlandaskan pada Teori Modal Sosial, berpendapat bahwa pemulihan dimensi kepercayaan, jaringan, dan kerja sama dalam modal sosial merupakan hal yang penting bagi pemulihan berkelanjutan dan harus berjalan seiring dengan pemulihan mata pencaharian di Wilayah Pemerintahan Lokal (LGA) Wukari, Negara Bagian Taraba. Kesimpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemulihan Wukari seharusnya tidak semata-mata berfokus pada rekonstruksi fisik, melainkan lebih diarahkan pada pemulihan pemberdayaan dan kohesi sosial. The purpose of community service activities is to provide training in the development of mobile role-playing game learning media based on serious games, which are games designed for specific educational goals, rather than just entertainment, and are formatted as mobile role-playing games (RPGs). This activity also aims to measure the resulting improvement in the teachers' competence. This community service activity employed a participatory training approach, structured into four phases: assessment, preparation, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing a combination of online and offline methods. The subjects in this activity were 50 teachers from MGMP Geography, Malang City. The Wilcoxon test revealed that implementing service activities had a positive impact on improving teachers' competence. In addition, the suggestion from this activity is that similar activities are needed as a form of sustainability for real efforts to improve teacher competence and the quality of geography learning.<br><br></em>[Berdasarkan analisis situasi, permasalahan, dan kebutuhan terhadap MGMP Geografi Kota Malang, guru mengalami kendala dalam mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi. yaitu <em>mobile role-playing</em> game berbasis <em>serious game,</em> yaitu permainan yang di desain untuk pendidikan, bukan hanya untuk bersenang-senang, dalam format <em>role-playing game (RPG).</em> Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu memberikan pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran <em>mobile role-playing game</em> berbasis <em>serious game</em> dan mengukur tingkat kompetensi guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu asesmen, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan kombinasi daring dan luring. However, pressures from abrasion, vegetation degradation, and human activities threaten the sustainability of ecosystems. This Community Service and Empowerment program aimed to encourage direct community involvement in coastal conservation through the planting of Pandanus tectorius in Batu Hiu, Pangandaran. The methods applied were participatory approaches, including community coordination, environmental education, planting activities, and initial monitoring. The results showed the successful planting of hundreds of Pandanus tectorius seedlings in coastal areas vulnerable to abrasion, the release of 129 turtle hatchlings over three years of activities, and an increase in community knowledge about the ecological functions of Pandanus tectorius. Discussions with the community revealed the growth of collective awareness and concern for coastal conservation. This program demonstrates that marine ecotourism with a community-based conservation approach can serve as an effective strategy to protect coastal habitats while instilling environmental sustainability values.<br><br></em>[Kawasan pesisir memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem laut dan kehidupan masyarakat. Namun, tekanan akibat abrasi, degradasi vegetasi, serta aktivitas manusia mengancam keberlanjutan ekosistem. Kegiatan Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan mendorong keterlibatan langsung masyarakat dalam konservasi pesisir melalui penanaman pandan laut (Pandanus tectorius) di kawasan Batu Hiu, Pangandaran. This activity is motivated by the increasing mental health problems among teenagers and the community's low ability to integrate spiritual literacy with digital technology. The implementation method includes six stages of assistance, namely training in psychospiritual writing, training in edutainment-based teaching techniques, social media creation and optimization, as well as training in psychospiritual content creation and edutainment-based training content. All activities are carried out collaboratively among lecturers, students, and community members, employing a participatory and reflective approach. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of community members. KPKDG successfully mastered psychospiritual writing techniques, created active social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok), and produced ten digital spiritual content pieces that showcased the values of faith, hope, and inner healing. This program fosters a new awareness that spiritual literacy can be a means of social therapy and a medium for spreading faith in the digital age. The program not only enhances community capacity but also establishes a model of faith- and technology-based empowerment to strengthen the mental health of young people and foster an adaptive spiritual culture amid the challenges of digitalization.</em></p> <p align="justify">[Berdasarkan Kongres Asosiasi Perguruan Tinggi Katolik tahun 2024, kesehatan mental merupakan isu termutakhir yang harus ditanggulangi. Minimnya konten Rohani Katolik yang menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap kesehatan mental, menjadi permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan Komunitas Penulis Katolik Deo Gratias (KPKDG) Malang melalui pendampingan pembuatan Smart Psychospiritual berbasis Edutainment Digital. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya permasalahan kesehatan mental remaja dan rendahnya kemampuan komunitas dalam mengintegrasikan literasi rohani dengan teknologi digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi enam tahap pendampingan, yaitu pelatihan menulis psikospiritualitas, pelatihan teknik mengajar berbasis edutainment, pembuatan dan optimalisasi media sosial, serta pelatihan pembuatan konten psikospiritual dan pelatihan konten pelatihan berbasis edutainment. This community service program aims to carry out legal restoration to reduce the negative impacts of nikah siri, while ensuring legal protection and administrative rights for 17 women involved in unregistered marriages and their children. Using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, this program emphasizes the active participation of the Tendas coastal community in addressing issues related to nikah siri. The program's results reveal three main findings. First, the Tendas coastal community is a relatively isolated community that tends to practice nikah siri due to limited understanding of the risks of unregistered marriage, low educational attainment, weak economic conditions, early marriage practices, and conservative and stubborn attitudes. Second, the community service actions were implemented through focus group discussions (FGDs), training on low-cost marriage registration procedures, the establishment of the Sakinah Mawaddah wa Rahmah (SAMAWA) Family Post, and assistance with the isbat nikah (marriage legalization) process. Third, the legal restoration outcomes in the Tendas community encouraged the legalization of unregistered marriages through isbat nikah, enhanced community legal education, and strengthened the roles of traditional and religious leaders in promoting official marriage registration. Overall, this community service program successfully increased legal awareness among the Tendas coastal community and expanded access to administrative protection through legally registered marriages.<br><br></em>[Berdasarkan data observasi lapangan, 62,96% masyarakat pesisir Tendas cenderung melakukan pernikahan siri karena rendahnya kesadaran terhadap hukum administrasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan melakukan restorasi hukum untuk mengurangi dampak negatif pernikahan siri, sekaligus menjamin perlindungan hukum dan hak administratif bagi 17 perempuan pelaku nikah siri serta anak-anak mereka. Dengan pendekatan <em>Participatory Action Research</em> (PAR), pengabdian ini menekankan partisipasi aktif masyarakat pesisir Tendas dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan nikah siri. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan tiga temuan utama. Pertama, masyarakat pesisir Tendas merupakan komunitas yang relatif terisolasi dan cenderung melakukan nikah siri akibat kurangnya pemahaman terhadap risiko perkawinan siri, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan, lemahnya kondisi ekonomi, praktik pernikahan dini, serta sikap kolot dan keras kepala. Kedua, aksi pengabdian dilakukan melalui kegiatan focus group discussion (FGD), pelatihan prosedur pencatatan pernikahan berbiaya minimal, pembentukan Posko Keluarga Sakinah Mawaddah wa Rahmah (SAMAWA), serta pendampingan proses isbat nikah. Ketiga, hasil restorasi hukum pernikahan siri di masyarakat Tendas mendorong legalisasi pernikahan melalui isbat nikah, meningkatkan edukasi hukum masyarakat, serta memperkuat peran tokoh adat dan tokoh agama dalam mendorong pencatatan pernikahan secara resmi. Previous studies indicate that these students often experience academic adjustment challenges, psychological pressure, and limited exposure to foreign languages beyond Arabic and English. Although several programs have addressed academic guidance and mental health awareness, the integration of experiential learning within a comprehensive empowerment model for students remains limited. This program was developed based on the hypothesis that experiential, participatory engagement can significantly enhance students’ adaptive capacities. This community engagement initiative employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving 200 students from Madrasah Aliyah Dayah Terpadu Al-Muslimun in Aceh Utara. The program was implemented through four stages: preparation, socialization, implementation, and evaluation, using observation, interviews, structured tasks, and reflective discussions as data collection methods. Key outcome indicators included improved academic learning strategies, enhanced mental health awareness, increased digital literacy through the use of online journals, and basic competencies in Mandarin, Japanese, and French. The results demonstrated notable improvements in academic readiness, understanding of mental well-being, and learning motivation among third-year students. Second-year students demonstrated an increased ability to recognize basic vocabulary and showed a greater interest in foreign language learning. Overall, students' active participation and teachers' positive responses indicated the effectiveness of experiential learning in strengthening their adaptability. These findings align with empowerment theory, which posits that learners are active agents in their own personal development. No adverse effects were identified during program implementation. In conclusion, this empowerment program successfully enhanced students’ academic preparedness, mental resilience, and multilingual competence. Recommendations include establishing language interest classes, digital journal reading groups, and integrating mental health education into the curriculum.<br><br></em>[Kesiapan akademik, ketahanan mental, literasi digital, dan kompetensi multibahasa merupakan kemampuan kunci bagi santri yang akan memasuki jenjang pendidikan tinggi. Berbagai studi menunjukkan bahwa remaja pesantren menghadapi tantangan adaptasi akademik, tingginya stres belajar, serta terbatasnya paparan bahasa asing selain Arab dan Inggris. Program-program terdahulu telah menyoroti pentingnya pembinaan akademik dan kesehatan mental, namun integrasi pendekatan <em>experiential learning</em> dalam penguatan multiaspek siswa pesantren masih terbatas. Kegiatan ini berangkat dari hipotesis bahwa model pemberdayaan berbasis pengalaman langsung dapat meningkatkan kemampuan adaptif siswa secara signifikan. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan <em>Participatory Action Research</em> (PAR) dengan melibatkan 200 siswa Madrasah Aliyah Dayah Terpadu Al-Muslimun Aceh Utara. Program dirancang melalui empat tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, tugas terstruktur, dan refleksi partisipatif. Indikator utama yang diukur meliputi peningkatan pemahaman strategi belajar, kesadaran kesehatan mental, kemampuan literasi digital melalui jurnal daring, serta kompetensi dasar bahasa Mandarin, Jepang, dan Perancis. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan akademik, pemahaman konsep <em>mental well-being</em>, serta motivasi belajar pada kelompok siswa tingkat tiga. Pada kelompok tingkat dua, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan identifikasi kosakata dasar dan minat terhadap pembelajaran bahasa asing. Secara keseluruhan, partisipasi aktif siswa dan respons positif guru memperlihatkan efektivitas pendekatan <em>experiential learning</em> dalam memperkuat kapasitas adaptif santri. Hasil ini konsisten dengan teori pemberdayaan berbasis partisipasi yang menempatkan siswa sebagai aktor utama dalam proses pengembangan diri. Tidak ditemukan dampak negatif selama pelaksanaan program. Kesimpulannya, program pemberdayaan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesiapan akademik, ketahanan mental, serta kompetensi multibahasa siswa pesantren.
