This study aims to analyze students’ learning difficulties in tajhiz mayit material among twelfth-grade students at SMAN 3 Lasalimu, Buton Regency. Tajhiz mayit is an important component of Islamic Religious Education as it relates to fardhu kifayah, which must be understood and practiced by Muslims both theoretically and practically. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of Islamic Religious Education teachers and twelfth-grade students at SMAN 3 Lasalimu. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that students experience learning difficulties in understanding tajhiz mayit concepts, memorizing recitations and prayers of the funeral prayer, and mastering the correct procedures for managing a corpse, including washing, shrouding, praying for, and burying the deceased. These difficulties are caused by internal factors such as low learning motivation and interest, as well as external factors including less varied teaching methods, limited practical activities, inadequate learning facilities, and an unconducive learning environment. This study concludes that improving learning quality through varied instructional methods, contextual learning, practical activities, and continuous guidance and motivation is necessary to enhance students’ understanding of tajhiz mayit material.
Resna Yanti, Darmayanti Darmayanti, Abdul Rahim Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/23905 Thu, 12 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Strategi Komunikasi Interpersonal Dalam Hubungan Long Distance Marriage Pada Pasangan Suami-Istri https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/23909

The phenomenon of long distance marriage has increasingly emerged as a consequence of economic demands and occupational mobility, particularly in rural areas. This condition requires married couples to develop effective interpersonal communication strategies in order to maintain marital harmony despite physical separation. This study aims to examine the interpersonal communication strategies employed by married couples in sustaining harmonious relationships within the context of long distance marriage in Sugihan Village, Solokuro District, Lamongan Regency. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method to explore the lived experiences of couples engaged in long-distance marital relationships. Data were collected through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of married couples practicing long distance marriage as well as supporting informants. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that couples implement various interpersonal communication strategies to preserve marital harmony, including openness and honesty in communication, flexible utilization of communication technology, emotional and conflict management, adjustment of communication timing, and reinforcement of trust and emotional support. Despite encountering obstacles such as differing work schedules, limited time availability, and technical disruptions, couples are able to manage these challenges through mutual understanding and adaptive communication practices. This study underscores that the quality of interpersonal communication plays a crucial role in maintaining harmony in long distance marriage relationships.
Eldiana Putri Cahyani Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/23909 Tue, 03 Feb 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Peran UPTD PPA dalam Upaya Pencegahan Kekerasan Seksual terhadap Perempuan dan Anak di Kabupaten Pohuwato https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24146
Sexual violence against women and children remains a complex social issue requiring not only legal responses but also preventive efforts implemented through local protection institutions. This study analyzes the role of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Women and Child Protection (UPTD PPA) in preventing sexual violence in Pohuwato Regency. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation and analyzed using Talcott Parsons’ AGIL framework. The findings indicate that UPTD PPA has strengthened preventive efforts through diversified reporting mechanisms, cross-sector coordination, and community-based educational outreach. However, differences in social structures between sub-districts influence the effectiveness of implementation, revealing an imbalance between structural capacity and social integration. The study highlights that strengthening institutional roles alone is insufficient without alignment between formal protection mechanisms and local social norms. This research contributes to the understanding of local protection systems by demonstrating how the balance of social system functions at the sub-district level shapes the sustainability of sexual violence prevention efforts.
Dewinta Rizky R. This study focuses on the strategies for memorizing the Quran used by students in the digital era and the effectiveness of using digital media to support memorization. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were obtained through interviews with seven PAI students and three lecturers teaching Quran memorization, observation, and documentation. Data analysis included transcription, coding, thematic analysis, and data triangulation. The results showed that students combined traditional methods such as muraja'ah, tikrar, talaqqi, and direct deposits to lecturers with the use of digital technologies such as digital Quran applications, YouTube, audio murrotal, Google Drive, and Google Calendar. The use of digital media was considered effective in increasing memorization flexibility, assisting verse repetition, and improving tajweed through audio. The findings indicate that digital technologies have the potential to improve learning quality through greater accessibility, interactivity, personalization, and student engagement. However, their implementation continues to face challenges, including limited digital competencies among educators, inadequate technological infrastructure, and the need to integrate Islamic values into technology use. This study contributes to the advancement of digital-based Islamic education research and serves as a reference for educational policy development and innovation in IRE learning in the era of digital transformation.
sirdau sisilawati, Totong Heri Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/23766 Thu, 11 Jun 2026 20:07:00 +0700 Pemikiran Pendidikan Islam K.H Ahmad Dahlan dan Implementasi dalam Sistem Pendidikan Ajaran Islam di Indonesia https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24466
Islamic education in Indonesia faces modern challenges in the form of digitalization of education, character building, and religious moderation. In this context, the educational thought of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan is important to re-examine because it offers an integrative concept of tajdid (renewal) in Islamic education. However, previous research has focused more on the biography and history of Ahmad Dahlan's struggle than on the relevance of his thought to contemporary education. This study aims to analyze K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's concept of Islamic education and its implementation and relevance in the Islamic education system in Indonesia. The study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods through a historical-factual approach. Data were obtained from various primary and secondary sources in the form of journals and documents related to Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts, then analyzed using content analysis. The results show that Ahmad Dahlan's educational concept emphasizes the integration of religious knowledge with general knowledge, character building, intellectual development, and social awareness through the values of Al-Ma'un. This tajdid concept is relevant to modern pedagogy, especially in strengthening character education, contextual learning, critical thinking, and religious moderation in the digital era. Thus, K.H Ahmad Dahlan's educational thoughts remain relevant as a basis for developing modern, adaptive and humanistic Islamic education..
Fika Fahria Rahmah Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24466 Thu, 11 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Islam di Era Digital: Analisis Tren dan Tantangan di Masa Disrupsi https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/20562
This study examines the trends in the development of Islam in the era of digital disruption, where technological advancements have influenced various aspects of Muslim religious life. With the widespread use of the internet, social media, and other digital platforms, religious practices, da'wah, and Islamic education have undergone significant transformation. Through a qualitative approach that examines various relevant literature sources to study the phenomenon of digitalization in Islamic religious life, this research analyzes both the positive and negative impacts of digitalization on Islamic preaching, religious education, and the formation of a global Muslim community. The findings reveal that digitalization offers numerous opportunities, such as easier access to religious information, the global expansion of Islamic da'wah, and the emergence of online Islamic education platforms that facilitate distance learning. However, the era of digital disruption also presents major challenges, including the rampant spread of unverified information, the risk of religious privatization that reduces social engagement, and the potential for radicalization through digital media. This study recommends the need for a wise adaptation by preachers, educators, and religious institutions to maximize the benefits of digital technology in strengthening Islamic teachings, while maintaining the authenticity and validity of disseminated information by instilling deep-rooted values of wasathiyah (Islamic moderation). In this way, Islam can remain relevant and continue to grow dynamically amidst the challenges of the digital age.
Zulkifli, Khairil Anwar Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/20562 Fri, 19 Jun 2026 20:22:15 +0700 Partisipasi Komite Sekolah dalam Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah di Lembaga Pendidikan Islam https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24154
This study examines school committee participation in improving the quality of Islamic educational institutions through strengthening School-Based Management (SBM). The study was conducted at MA Al-Qoyyuum Hendea, Hendea Village, Sampolawa Subdistrict, South Buton Regency, a madrasah established in 2020 through community self-help initiatives. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the madrasah principal, teachers, committee officers, parents, community leaders, and high-achieving students; limited observations of committee meetings and coaching activities; and document analysis (program plans, meeting minutes, evidence of community contributions, and records of student achievements). Data were analyzed thematically through coding, categorization, and theme development, while trustworthiness was ensured through source method triangulation and member checking. The findings indicate that committee participation is substantive and multidimensional. The committee played a crucial role in mobilizing resources and legitimacy during the madrasah’s establishment, contributed to setting program priorities, and supported quality improvement initiatives especially coaching for science and sports achievements which strengthened public trust. In addition, the committee functioned as a channel for parents’ aspirations and a social mediator to maintain community cohesion. These findings align with social capital and participatory governance perspectives that emphasize trust, shared ownership, and deliberative decision-making. However, the sustainability of participation remains constrained by variations in parents’ capacity, reliance on personal relationships, and insufficiently standardized program–budget documentation. In conclusion, institutionalizing clear procedures, consistent reporting, and indicator based evaluation is necessary to ensure that committee participation yields long-term impacts on madrasah quality.
Jufri, Abdul Rahim, La Ode Sahrin Djalia, La Ode Fajrul Islam Sabti Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24154 Fri, 19 Jun 2026 22:03:30 +0700 Harmoni dalam Keberagaman: Analisis Tradisi Kopral Kasemo di Desa Tanon Kediri https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/18273
The Kopral Kasemo tradition in Tanon Village, Papar, Kediri, is a local tradition that brings together people from different faiths in a communal prayer ritual to commemorate the heroes of the independence struggle. One approach that can be employed is the use of the Canva app, which enables users to create various types of visual designs such as presentations, info graphics, and learning materials with a more engaging appearance. This study aims to determine how the Canva app is used as a learning medium and its role in creating interactive learning experiences for students in the Islamic Education Program at Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic University. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews with the students. The Research shows that most students use Canva to create a variety of materials, including presentations, concept maps, and visual aids used in class. Delivering material through Canva is considered to help students create more engaging presentations, foster creativity, and make the learning process more interactive and less monotonous. Media created using Canva can also boost students’ confidence when presenting material in front of the class. However, several obstacles were identified: some students still struggle to understand and utilize the various features available in Canva, resulting in suboptimal use of the platform. It can be concluded that Canva plays a significant role as a learning tool that can support more interactive and engaging learning experiences, although students still need to improve their understanding of how to make the most of its feature.
Lathifah Lailatassaidah, Herwati, Mahfudz Sulaiman Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24572 Wed, 01 Jul 2026 19:59:00 +0700 Kritik Orientalis terhadap Hadis: Atas Pemikiran Ignaz Goldziher dan Joseph Schacht https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/19847
This study systematically examines the thoughts of Ignaz Goldziher and Joseph Schacht in orientalist criticism of the authenticity of hadith through a literature review (Systematic Literature Review) based on the PRISMA guidelines to filter 11,705 articles into 40 relevant studies (n = 40). The main objectives include: (1) mapping Schacht's theory of skepticism projecting back, argumentum e silentio, and common link as well as Goldziher's sanad-matan criticism approach, (2) comparing the points of agreement and differences in Schacht's focus on legal hadith versus Goldziher's on the social construction of the post-Prophet hadith corpus, and (3) evaluating the implications for contemporary hadith studies. The results show the dominance of qualitative studies based on library research (±90%), with the consensus that both figures open up space for methodological dialogue even though they are often accused of being selective and reductive in their choice of sources. Theory mapping reveals the strengths and weaknesses of each Schacht excels in historical sanad analysis, Goldziher emphasizes the socio-political context while contemporary academic responses emphasize the integration of classical sanad-matan verification with matan analysis and Western historical-philological frameworks. The research focuses on two main issues: the pattern of the jihadist Sahel network's expansion into northern Côte d'Ivoire, and the response of the Muslim community coordinated by Sunni Islamic organizations through proselytization, education, and strengthening social cohesion. This study employs a qualitative method based on literature review by examining scholarly articles and other related literature, and uses the Radicalization and Counter-Radicalization Theory to analyze radical influences and efforts to prevent them. The findings show that the threat to Côte d'Ivoire did not emerge abruptly, but developed as a spillover effect from conflicts in Mali and Burkina Faso, particularly through the northern border regions that are administratively weak and socioeconomically vulnerable. In this context, moderate Sunni Muslim communities, through religious organizations such as AMSCI, CODIS, and JEMCI, serve as ideological and social buffers by promoting a peaceful Islamic narrative, educating youth cadres, utilizing digital media, collaborating with the state, and involving Christian communities as a pluralistic nation. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of religious responses continues to depend on strengthening state presence, local economic development, and the governance of security in border areas.
Riski Taufikur Rahman, Irfan Fauzi, Naufalun Ni’am Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24610 Tue, 14 Jul 2026 11:09:12 +0700 Pendidikan Ibu dan Ayah sebagai Determinan Stunting Balita pada Rumah Tangga Muslim di Indonesia https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24227
Stunting among children under five years of age constitutes a chronic nutritional problem that remains a serious challenge in Indonesia, with a prevalence of 35.3% observed among Muslim households based on the fifth wave of the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS). This research examines the relationship between parental education, religious participation, and the probability of stunting among children in Indonesian Muslim households. Binary logistic regression with a marginal effects approach was applied to a sample of 2,813 children aged 0–59 months from 2,558 Muslim households. Findings indicate that paternal education at the senior secondary and tertiary levels significantly reduces the probability of child stunting by 8.9 and 7.5 percentage points, respectively, while maternal education at the senior secondary level reduces the probability by 5.9 percentage points. Paternal participation in religious study gatherings (pengajian or majelis taklim) is significantly and negatively associated with stunting, suggesting that socio-religious spaces may reinforce nutritional awareness within families. Maternal religious participation, however, yields no statistically significant association. Household economic status and urban residence also contribute significantly to the probability of stunting. These findings affirm that stunting reduction interventions within Muslim communities should account for the educational roles of both parents and leverage religious forums as effective channels for nutritional education within the framework of human capital development from an Islamic economics perspective.
Tarissa Chairina Mirsal, Donny Hardiawan, Cupian Copyright (c) 2026 NUANSA: Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Sosial dan Keagamaan Islam https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/nuansa/article/view/24227 Tue, 14 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0700
