This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Tudang Sipulung learning model enhancing the social intelligence of students in the Social Studies Education Program at IAIN Parepare. Using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design, the study involved a single group of students as participants. Data were collected through a social intelligence test covering three main dimensions: social information processing, social awareness, and social skills. The data was analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The findings revealed a significant increase in students’ social intelligence after the implementation of the Tudang Sipulung learning model (p < 0.05), with the most notable improvements observed in collaborative and empathetic abilities that reflect Bugis cultural values such as siri’, pacce, and sipakatau. Practically, the results indicate that the Tudang Sipulung learning model serves as an effective pedagogical strategy to foster social intelligence and strengthen collaborative interactions grounded in local wisdom. Theoretically, this study reinforces Vygotsky’s social constructivist theory, emphasizing the role of social interaction in knowledge construction, while expanding the theoretical framework of local wisdom-based learning as a contextual approach in higher education.
2025-12-16T13:00:47+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/entita/article/view/22006 Revitalizing Balinese Dance for Generation Z: Critical Ethnography to Overcome the Socio-Cultural Identity Crisis 2025-12-16T16:24:35+07:00 I Wayan Gede Lamopia wayanlamo@gmail.com Riza Wulandari rizawulandari@stikom-bali.ac.id Ni Wayan Setiasih wayanlamo@gmail.com
Globalization and the development of digital technology have changed the patterns of interaction and cultural expression among the younger generation, especially Generation Z (Gen Z). In Bali, this phenomenon has given rise to a major challenge in the form of a socio-cultural identity crisis, characterized by Gen Z's alienation from their local culture and a loss of value orientation, which can lead to a weakening of social cohesion and national identity. This study aims to identify the forms of socio-cultural identity crisis faced by Gen Z and formulate the reinvention of Balinese dance as a contextual mitigation strategy. The study uses qualitative methods with an ethnographic approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The results of the study map three main sub-topics of identity crisis, including (1) a shift in values, in the form of a dominant pragmatic and consumptive orientation towards art; (2) a crisis of collective representation, when Balinese dance is no longer perceived as a medium of self-expression for Gen Z; and (3) the influence of digital lifestyle, which shifts the practice of learning and appreciating art to an instant virtual space. The object of this research is Widya Prakrti Dance. The research is expected to support arts education, strengthen cultural literacy, and expand the space for appreciating Balinese dance through digital media, creative learning platforms, and curricular and co-curricular activities for the younger generation who are oriented towards collaboration across contemporary local communities.
2025-12-16T13:10:28+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/entita/article/view/21999 Sinergy of Community Participation, Government Support and Environmental Awareness on Local Wisdom Based Sustainable Ecotourism Village 2025-12-16T14:34:12+07:00 Aji Prabowo ajipr4bowo@gmail.com Montaris Silaen 05monsil@gmail.com Desyana Putri desyanaputri@unsam.ac.id
Local wisdom-based tourism plays an important role in sustainable development; however, Tomok Tourism Village in Samosir still faces challenges such as low community participation, limited government support, and a lack of environmental awareness. This study aims to analyze the roles of community participation, government support, and environmental awareness in fostering local wisdom-based sustainable ecotourism in Tomok Tourism Village, Samosir. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys of 100 respondents analyzed using SEM-PLS with qualitative interviews and field observations involving 10 informants to capture socio-cultural contexts. Quantitative results reveal that community participation has a significant and dominant effect on sustainable ecotourism (path coefficient = 0.495; p-value 0.000 < 0.05), while environmental awareness also shows a significant positive influence (path coefficient = 0.362; p-value 0.000 < 0.05). In contrast, government support, though positive in direction, does not significantly affect sustainability (path coefficient = 0.148; p-value 0.208 > 0.05). Qualitative findings reinforce these results by showing that local communities actively participate in tourism management based on a strong sense of ownership and cultural values, while government involvement is often limited to regulatory and short-term assistance. Respondents also emphasized that environmental awareness among both residents and visitors has begun to improve through collective initiatives to maintain cleanliness and reduce plastic waste. Overall, sustainable ecotourism in Tomok is primarily driven by active community involvement and environmental consciousness, while the government’s role remains suboptimal. The study suggests the need to strengthen community capacity, enhance environmental education, and reposition the government’s role from regulator to facilitator in achieving sustainable ecotourism.
2025-12-16T13:18:11+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/entita/article/view/21427 A Multivocal Literature Review of Green Election Political Education Based on Pancasila Values to Achieve Sustainability 2025-12-16T14:34:13+07:00 Pratama Yoga Wica pratamayoga@politala.ac.id Farid Fadillah faridfadillah36@gmail.com Novi Eka Saputri novi.eka.saputri@ecampus.ut.ac.id Arif Subowo arifsubowo@unima.ac.id Nurul Fajariah nurul@politala.ac.id Ahmad Ridhani Noorfauzi ahmadridhani@politala.ac.id
Pancasila-based green election reform is positioned as a strategy to strengthen democracy with integrity while simultaneously orienting toward sustainability and environmental awareness. Using the Multivocal Literature Review method, this study examined 69 secondary documents from regulations, journals, proceedings, reports, and books. This international and national literature review utilized large databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. Government documents, such as laws, regulations, and other supporting documents, were retrieved from Indonesian legal web sources. Two concepts were used: environmental and political education. These two concepts were used solely for conceptual understanding. The analysis was then conducted based on existing regulations in Indonesia, then integrated with the values of Pancasila. The results show that although regulations on environmental political education exist, their implementation remains weak, and the values of divinity, humanity, unity, deliberation, and justice have not been reflected in environmental election performance indicators. Key recommendations include green compliance indicators in the evaluation and ethics of organizers, low emission campaigns that are inclusive of all groups including people with disabilities, the establishment of a green election task force, the development of a green election deliberation module, and the management of campaign material waste to promote a just and sovereign green democracy in line with Pancasila.
2025-12-16T13:29:20+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/entita/article/view/22063 Guiding The Perception and Behavior of Generation Z Regarding LGBT Issues in Digital Content Based on Age Characteristics 2025-12-16T14:51:25+07:00 Ashabul Fadhli ashabulfadhli@upiyptk.ac.id Syelfia Dewimarni ashabulfadhli@upiyptk.ac.id
This study aims to determine the influence of parental supervision and its relationship with the perception and behavior of Generation Z regarding LGBT issues in digital content access. There is a common stigma that Generation Z, having grown up during a time of extensive internet use, is at greater risk of being exposed to LGBT culture. This field research employs a quantitative descriptive approach and Pearson Correlation (R). The research subjects are Generation Z individuals in Padang City, grouped by age characteristics: junior high school students aged 14-16 years, senior high school students aged 16-18 years, and university students aged 18-22 years. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire arranged using a Likert scale. The results reveal that parental supervision has a significant influence with a score of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a strong relationship with perception and behavior at 95.7%. This finding indicates the importance of parents providing relevant parenting patterns and education tailored to the needs of Generation Z. This research hopes to serve as a guide for parents and related institutions in safeguarding Generation Z’s online activities from LGBT influences and cultural exposure.
2025-12-16T13:44:32+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/entita/article/view/20225 Memaknai Kearifan Lokal Tidur di Atas Pasir sebagai Representasi Ekologi Budaya Masyarakat Pesisir Pulau Madura 2025-12-16T14:50:30+07:00 Moh. One important sub-theme in social studies is local history, which covers past events and figures in the students' surroundings. In studying this sub-theme, students often experience difficulties due to a learning process that tends to emphasize memorization, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the historical thinking-based role-playing learning model on student learning outcomes in the sub-theme of local history to address the challenges of social studies learning. The method used is a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Songgon Satu Atap with a sample of 44 students. The instrument test was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests, and item discrimination tests. The results of the instrument test showed that most of the items were valid, reliable, and had an easy to moderate difficulty level. In addition, the percentage of discrimination was good as a research instrument. The hypothesis test was conducted with an independent samples t-test using SPSS 29. Based on the research results, it was found that the experimental class experienced a greater increase in learning outcomes, namely 19.83%. Meanwhile, the control class increased by 15.3%. The implementation of the historical thinking-based role-playing learning model had a significant effect on student learning outcomes and could be an alternative in efforts to improve learning outcomes.
2025-12-24T20:39:43+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial https://ejournal.uinmadura.ac.id/index.php/entita/article/view/22381 Multicultural Disaster Mitigation Education in Elementary Schools: An Inclusive Approach to Disaster Risk Management 2025-12-29T13:36:44+07:00 Wiwik Lestari lestariwiwik201180@gmail.com Laila Fatmawati lestariwiwik201180@gmail.com
Disaster mitigation education at the elementary school level plays a critical role in developing students’ awareness, preparedness, and collective responsibility toward disaster risks. In multicultural urban contexts such as Medan City, however, its implementation remains challenged by learning approaches that emphasize technical knowledge while overlooking socio-cultural diversity. This study explores the implementation of multicultural-based disaster mitigation education in elementary schools in Medan City and examines pedagogical practices and challenges encountered in diverse learning environments. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 20 teachers, 50 students, and 10 parents, supported by classroom observations in five multicultural elementary schools. The findings reveal that integrating multicultural values into disaster mitigation education enhances students’ disaster risk awareness while fostering mutual respect, collaboration, and cross-cultural social solidarity. Contextual and inclusive pedagogical strategies enable students to understand disaster mitigation as a shared collective responsibility. Nevertheless, challenges persist, particularly regarding teacher preparedness, curriculum integration, and limited school–community collaboration. This study highlights the importance of culturally responsive curricula, sustained teacher capacity development, and strengthened partnerships among schools, families, and communities to improve the effectiveness of disaster mitigation education in multicultural settings.
2025-12-29T13:23:20+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Entita: Jurnal Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial dan Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial
