Learning motivation is a critical determinant of students’ engagement and persistence in educational programs that require sustained effort, such as Tahfizul Qur’an education. Previous studies suggest that external support systems, including school counseling services and teacher support, play a vital role in creating a positive environment that enhances motivation and academic success. This study examined school counseling services and teacher support as predictors of students’ learning motivation within a Qur’an memorization program. The study employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 29. The sample comprised 125 students selected through random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that both school counseling services and teacher support had significant positive relationships with students’ learning motivation. The regression model yielded an F value of 212.9 (p < .001). Individually, school counseling services contributed through guidance, emotional support, and problem solving assistance, whereas teacher support, particularly through personal attention and guidance, was associated with greater self confidence and a stronger sense of value among students. Simultaneously, the two predictors explained 77.7% of the variance in students’ learning motivation (R² = .777), while the remaining 22.3% was accounted for by variables not examined in this study. These findings underscore the strategic importance of integrating counseling services and teacher support to cultivate a nurturing environment that sustains student motivation in tahfiz education.
