This study is based on the increasing vulnerability of PTKIN students to academic stress during the developmental transition period, highlighting the need for a strong social support system. This study aims to empirically analyze the relationship between peer social support (Peer Support) and Islamic-based psychological well-being (PWB) among students at UIN Sunan Kudus. The study employed a quantitative correlational design with a sample of 100 students. Data were collected using a construct validated questionnaire and analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique after meeting the prerequisite tests of normality and linearity. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between Peer Support and Islamic based PWB (r = 0.528; p = 0.000). The majority of respondents were in the moderate category for both variables, with Peer Support accounting for 27.84% of the variance in Islamic PWB. In conclusion, peer support is an important factor in buffering academic stress and strengthening the dimensions of peace of mind (thuma’ninah), acceptance (ridha), and brotherhood among university students.
